Travelling

is an experience. One that I believe should not be encumbered by the unnecessary, therefore the minimalist approach to packing is incredibly freeing. It is not difficult to see the reasons why—whether it is for business or pleasure, the fewer items you have packed, the easier it is to move around. Furthermore, the peace of mind you get from not having to keep track of your stuff is priceless. When I pack, I try to bring as little as possible, only the true necessities: enough clothes, a comfortable pair of shoes and the essential electronic devices with chargers. Anything else can be purchased locally. As a gauge of what to pack, ask yourself if you really need this? If your answer is ‘maybe,’ then leave it out. Before you know it, you will only be carrying the most important things with you. This also makes for a great life philosophy.
