“I don’t have a problem with how he dresses now, because I’ve been making adjustments from the very beginning”

In 2012, the CEO of Gurimas Group, Feruz Zainul, was introduced to actress and businesswoman Fyza Kadir. “The first time I saw her, there were butterflies in my stomach and I was so nervous!” he recalls fondly while glancing at Fyza with affection. The couple wasted no time, and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony the next year. Fyza has always been the more fashionable of the two while Feruz needed some fine-tuning. “My style is very cowboy!” he proclaims. “What? No!” She protests with a laugh before adding, “Not at all! Your style is smart casual and cool.” “She used to complain about the way I dressed when we got to know each other. I didn’t give my appearance much thought then, because I was busy with work. But ever since I met her, she’s showed me how to dress well,” he explains. Sometimes, they enjoy coordinating their outfits for weddings and even on grocery runs. When asked which of their partner’s fashion choices they would like to change, Fyza grinned mischievously while sharing a knowing look with Feruz. “I don’t have a problem with how he dresses now, because I’ve been making adjustments from the very beginning,” she jests. “I didn’t use to dress like this!” he agrees, while gesturing at the clothes he is wearing. “But I don’t mind. Now I wear more shirts and better shoes.” Colourful clothes cheer Fyza up on a bad day and for Feruz, it’s a nice pair of shoes. “You just look at your feet and you’ll feel better,” he says.
