A Woofing Good Time

CALEEN CHUA’S 30TH BIRTHDAY PARTY WITH UNDER ONE WOOF

When her beloved golden retriever Caesar went missing, restaurateur Caleen Chua was hopeful when she got word that a dog which looked like hers was spotted at an animal shelter called Under One Woof. There, she met Sim Kian Teng—the shelter’s dedicated owner. Although the dog wasn’t Caesar, Caleen was moved to action when she learnt that Under One Woof was going to be evicted from its premises. Together with her family and team, Caleen put together a fundraising party in conjunction with her 30th birthday, held at her restaurant Raintree in Menara CIMB, KL Sentral. Her friends all rallied together to support her by offering donations and spreading the word of Under One Woof ’s plight.
