ABSOLUELY ROSY
Kathlyn D’souza
On a chilly morning in Paris, we were driven 22km (about half an hour) from the city to a suburban area that may seem nondescript to every other person passing by. But that was until we stopped at a particular street, drove in towards the driveway, and rested our sights on a beautiful 19th-century castle shrouded by greenery. The beautiful Chateau de Santeny and the encompassing four-acred park was vibrant, beautiful and saturated in flowers. Not just any flower though. If you think about Lancôme, only one flower is synonymous with the brand. Naturally, the gardens and interior was festooned with bright pink roses. The setting was indeed very prestigious, with its scenic terrace, bright and elegant lounges, marble fireplaces, antique parquet and high ceilings. It speaks of refined luxury,
