TRANSFORMING URBAN LIVING

While TRX is officially known as Malaysia’s International Financial District, it will potentially be recognised for being more than a financial hub. For one, its unparalleled connectivity to anywhere within the city and Greater KL allows multiple transportation options that are experienced only when we visit other gateway global gateway cities like Tokyo, London or New York. Steering the public away from an overreliance on personal cars to more liberal use of trains, pedestrian walkways, car-sharing services and even the nontraditional form of commute-like e-scooters, TRX complements the growing network of dedicated lanes and pathways in KL. In doing so, TRX is also creating the path for a future of living sustainably where walking is preferred over driving and a daily commute in and out of the city by trains is commonplace.

TRX CONNECTIONS

MRT Line 1 and 2

TRX is accessible via the largest and the only MRT interchange station in the city, giving access to 68 stations across Klang Valley, including KL Sentral, Putrajaya, and Cyberjaya.

Pedestrian Walkways

• TRX is envisioned to be a pedestrian-focused development. All vehicular traffic and roads are either placed underground or at the periphery. The two underground ring roads lead in and out of basements 1 and 2, respectively, for efficient traffic flow. Minimal vehicles at ground level create a safer environment for pedestrians especially young children and the elderly. • Integrated development provides walkability between park, residences, retail, hotel and office. • Pedestrian links to Bukit Bintang and KLCC for convenient access to key city nodes.

Highways and Tunnels

Currently, TRX enjoys the only direct connection from the SMART Tunnel bypassing surface traffic altogether. Besides that, there are links to the new Setiawangsa Pantai Expressway (SPE), MEX Highway and the main arterial road of Jalan Tun Razak.

Interesting Fact

TRX is pedestrian-focused, with most roads mainly concentrated underground via an extensive network of tunnels.
