On whose work that has really, really made a profound impact on her.
“When people tell me how my music helped them go through a difficult time. That’s the most genuine thing you know. Thats why I do what I do, I pour my heart and soul into this. I don’t enjoy taking selfies and do the celebrity thing that much, I am okay with it but I’ve put so much of my life in my music, the last thing I want is for someone to take another selfie with me and then post it on social media for likes and walk away. It's not good for my soul. But when someone sends an email, or come up to me, look my in the eye and tells me that Lullabies helped them deal with a death of a family member, or get them out of suicidal thoughts—that gives me purpose. That drives me to create more.”
