MMSB to expand market share

-

GEORGE TOWN: Luxury ceramic and porcelain tiles manufacturer Malaysian Mosaics Sdn Bhd (MMSB) plans to invest RM5 million, or two per cent of its annual revenue, to expand market presence for its MML tiles product range.

The investment will include developing infrastructure such as new show offices and providing technical support for developers and primarily the business-to-business (B2B) segment.

“MML expects to grow by 15 to 20 per cent in revenue annually. The company has achieved this growth target in recent years, despite the soft property and building segment.

“Nevertheless, we are optimistic on the property development sector in the northern region. Our customers have been encouraging us to extend our office to showcase more of the brand’s offerings. Our new show office will serve as our northern hub to enhance our customers’ experience,” MMSB chief executive Alex Yeow Wai Siaw said in a statement yesterday.

MMSB officially opened its show office in Penang yesterday, showcasing a range of luxury ceramic and porcelain tiles.

The new show office also offers a compact lifestyle showcase for project developers, architects, interior designs, contractors and consumers to witness the latest trends in luxury interior concepts.

Yeow said the MML brand stands for quality and represents luxury living, with tile designs inspired by surfaces globally.

“MML tiles are designed to be part of an interior concept. Last year, we invested in Malaysia’s first ultra high definition digital technology for tiles, which has opened up endless possibilities in creating ceramic and porcelain tile designs and surfaces.

“This brings the MML products’ design quality to a higher level compared with ordinary digital products offered in the market,” he added.
