CHANNEL FOR MUSLIM CHILDREN

-

MUSLIM Kids TV (MKTV) makes its debut in Malaysia, bringing its best offerings of highly interactive and value-based children Englishlanguage content on TV AlHijrah (Astro Channel 114).

Dubbed as the “Netflix for Muslim children”, MKTV has emerged as one of the global highest demand in Islamic children content for both mainstream TV content and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV). Its content educates children between 2 and 15 years old with basic Islamic education by promoting early literacy on Quran, preserving sunnah as a way of life and also instilling integrity and good moral values.

Muslim Kids TV CEO and founder Michael Milo says there is an untapped market for 700 million Muslim children worldwide.

He adds that MKTV aims to tap into a wider coverage, where interactive edutainment for Muslim children has remained underserved until today.

Milo says that there is an urgent need and demand internationally for positive Muslim content, especially for children in order to build better aqidah and to promote right beliefs, in line with MKTV’s global mission in building better Muslim generations and to combat global radicalisation by neutralising the Islamicphobia in the world today.

Based in Alberta, Canada, MKTV was invented by Milo and his wife, Flordeliza Dayrit to provide fun interactive content in order to educate their own children on Islamic ethic values and teachings. They realised that many other parents were facing the same challenge.

MKTV was launched on March 2014, to provide healthy alternative resources for Muslim families worldwide who seek to preserve Islamic education, the heritage and the identity of their children. It also promotes early child education with basic Islamic fun entertainment and high-interactive concept, while developing and cultivating children’s creativity, nurturing their self-esteem, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, as well as motivating them to be solutionfocused in facing challenges.

“Our collaboration with TV AlHijrah is a milestone for MKTV’s initial distribution of Islamic entertainment children content in Malaysia. We are truly honoured to be now working with this Channel in the realm of children’s interactive programming,”, says Milo.

Its role as the strategic and creative media partner to TV AlHijrah is significant as it is completely aligned with TV AlHijrah’s current mission and its key initiative in fine-tuning its revolutionary global vision.

“Indeed, we foresee the key role of a global platform such as Muslim Kids TV to be significant in promoting early Islamic children edutainment content.

“We hope this long-term strategic and creative collaboration with Muslim Kids TV will continue progressively, and not just confined to provide the very best Islamic children content by adding values to its viewers in Malaysia and this Asia-Pacific region, but also to commit and to spearhead the global initiatives of empowering Islam as a universal religion of peace, diversity and unity for all,” says TV AlHijrah CEO Izelan Basar.

As for this strategic and creative collaboration, MKTV takes the bold initiative to provide its best current content releases via TV AlHijrah’s children belt, known as Zon Aulad and to promote a special subscription fee, exclusively for the channel’s respective audience via MKTV’s website, www.muslimkids.tv

Along with a growing number of over 400 videos, the website introduces a highly interactive online experience for children. This includes a mini social media network, a web-app, whereby children are encouraged to study, recite and memorise Quranic verses via online tutorials, and various fun activities that encourages to create their own content among users to network with other friends across the world.
