House buyers get 360° virtual viewing experience

-

KUALA LUMPUR: House buyers are treated to an innovative state-ofthe-art experience at the Virtual Property and Lifestyle Expo (Viplex).

Viplex, which ends on Sunday, represents a refreshing way to market properties through experiential expos.

Buyers are offered a 360° virtual viewing experience of housing units.

With innovative technology and the world’s first-ever virtual property site PROPTV, visitors are “transported” into the house of their dreams without having to set foot in it.

Visitors can see the inside, outside, vicinity and location of their chosen property at the click of a button.

PROPTV president and founder Peter Lo said his idea of virtual property was meant to innovate and transform the property industry, which favours buyers.

“Innovation is key, and we have to engage the audience. With PROPTV, buyers can have a firsthand look at the unit before calling or meeting agents.

“In this industry, you have to be innovative to stay competitive. You have to transform yourself to stay relevant,” he said at the launch of Viplex here yesterday.

Lo said Viplex was significant in the current economic climate, as exhibitors, partners and sponsors come together to face challenges from the property, real estate, hospitality and retail industries. The expo at the concourse level of the Lot 10 shopping complex here, brings together 20 exhibitors and many more on PROPTV.

Present were YTL Land and Development vice-president Joseph Yeoh and the New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd head of classifieds Giam Tee Hoong.
