Mum of triplets in crash buried

TRAGIC: 4 of Wan Suhana’s family, including 2 of 3 triplets, died in Saturday’s crash

WAN Suhana Wan Abdul Latif, the 33-yearold mother of triplets involved in an accident at Km3.8 of Jalan Tampin-Gemas on Saturday, was buried in her village yesterday.

She died at 1.35pm on Tuesday at Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital in Seremban.

She was buried at the Kampung Serating Muslim Cemetery.

Her mother, Kalsom Ludi, 61, said her eldest son called to inform her about Wan Suhana’s death at 1.40pm.

“Prior to that, my son had asked me to recite the Yasin and to pray for Wan Suhana.

“I read the Yasin twice before I received his call informing me about her death,” she said at

The crash claimed four family members: Wan Suhana’s husband Fadzil Mohd Jusoh, 37; her mother-in-law Nazipah Chik, 60; and two of her triplets, Nur Farhana and Muhammad Farhan, 1.

The surviving triplet, Muhammad Fahimi, has been discharged, while Wan Suhana’s sister-in-law, Nor Syuhaidah, 23, is warded at Kuantan Hospital.

Kalsom said the last time she saw her daughter and her family was during the Aidilfitri celebratio­n in July.

She recalled how happy the couple looked when they had the triplets after trying to have children for more than 10 years.

“They had to wait for so long to have children and I am glad that they became parents, even if it was only for a year,” she said.

The victim’s sister, Wan Sumazliza, 35, said a week before the incident, she chatted with Wan Suhana on Facebook.
