KOTA TINGGI: The mother of another student at the tahfiz school at the centre of an incident, where an 11-year-old had to have his legs amputated following a beating allegedly by an assistant warden, is worried sick.

Samsiah Abd Rahman is worried that her son, too, may have been abused as rumours are circulating that he was among the 15 or so students who took a beating along with Mohamad Thaqif Amin Mohd Gaddafi.

“My son is close friends with Thaqif. I was told that my son was among the group of pupils punished the same way that Thaqif was punished,” she said.

Thaqif ’s mother, Felda Wani Ahmad, 40, said she would take legal action against the school if it was found that her son’s medical condition was due to the whipping by the assistant warden.
