Bezza wins ‘Good De­sign Mark’ award

KUALA LUMPUR: Ma­jlis Rek­aben­tuk Malaysia (MRM), an agency un­der the Sci­ence, Tech­nol­ogy and In­no­va­tion Min­istry, has recog­nised the Pero­dua Bezza as the best car un­der the “Pub­lic Ar­eas and Trans­port Prod­ucts” cat­e­gory for 2016.

In a state­ment, Pero­dua pres­i­dent and chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Datuk Ami­nar Rashid Salleh said the recog­ni­tion was a tes­ta­ment to the hard work put in to pro­duce a truly Malaysian ve­hi­cle with global stan­dards.

The Pero­dua Bezza was also awarded the 2017 Frost & Sul­li­van Malaysia Car of the Year and the 2017 Frost and Sul­li­van 2017 Malaysia De­but Car of the Year awards re­cently.

“These en­dorse­ments will help us to fur­ther im­prove our­selves and our ca­pa­bil­i­ties to meet and ex­ceed our cus­tomers’ ex­pec­ta­tions,” said Ami­nar.

MRM pre­sented its “Malaysia Good De­sign Mark” award to Pero­dua at the Malaysia Good De­sign Mark Award Cer­e­mony on April 18.

The Pero­dua Bezza’s up­per body is the first fully de­signed car by Pero­dua and is the na­tional car com­pany’s first sedan with En­ergy Ef­fi­cient Ve­hi­cle (EEV) sta­tus.

The Bezza was launched on July 21 last year and is the best sell­ing sedan for the first quar­ter of the year, with over 15,900 units sold. Ber­nama
