Sam, Syatilla welcome firstborn
IT seems as though social media has become the norm for celebrities to make wedding and baby announcements these days.
Just 30 minutes after becoming first-time parents, actress Syatilla Melvin, 26, and husband, actor Shaheizy Sam, 34, announced the arrival of their firstborn via social media application Instagram yesterday.
The couple were over the moon with their baby’s arrival. They even managed a selfie in the labour room, which was uploaded on Syatilla’s Instagram account.
The caption read: “30 minutes ago! Alhamdulillah, syukur Ya Allah! Thank you, @shaheizy_sam.”
Shaheizy took the opportunity to thank fans for their prayers and kind wishes.
He uploaded the same image and said: “Alhamdulillah. Thank you for all your prayers and kind words. What shall I name the baby?”
Congratulatory messages from fans streamed in, wishing the parents and the newborn well, and welcoming them to parenthood.
A few days before going into labour, Syatilla’s floral-themed maternity shoot emerged online, garnering the attention of Netizens.
