AirAsia moves ops in Vietnam to Terminal 2

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Bhd moved its operations in Da Nang Internatio­nal Airport, Vietnam, from Terminal 1 to the new Terminal 2, effective yesterday.

In a statement, AirAsia said passengers travelling on all flights operated by the group (under flight code AK) were advised to check-in at Terminal 2, which was within walking distance from the old terminal.

“All guests flying to and from Da Nang will be informed of the change via email,” it said.

AirAsia operates one route from Kuala Lumpur into Da Nang, with a total of seven weekly flights.

AirAsia is boosting services to Vietnam next month, as it schedules the Bangkok Don Mueang– Da Nang route. The first flight is scheduled on June 9 and will operate on daily basis with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
