SARAWAK DAP will challenge the state legislative assembly’s decision to disqualify its Pujut assemblyman, Dr Ting Tiong Choon, in court.

State chairman Chong Chieng Jen said the party would file a writ within a month to quash last week’s decision to remove Dr Ting from the state assembly.

Chong claimed the motion moved against Dr Ting and his disqualification as Pujut assemblyman were against the principle of separation of powers.
