SA collaboration between the New Straits Times and Nikon, the event kicked off at 8am and ended at 11am.

It was organised to reflect the growing popularity of street photography among photo enthusiasts, and portray unique scenes of daily Malaysian life.

“Bukit Bintang was selected for this inaugural event, as it is a hotspot for tourists and locals alike. It is suitable for street photography because photographers can capture many interesting scenes such as the first shop to open in the morning, the rush hour traffic, and people having breakfast at the restaurants and stalls,” said Nikon Malaysia marketing manager Yeo Su Kuan.

Participants need to upload a maximum of three photos to their social media accounts, with the hashtag #nstnikonphotowalkto submit their entries.

Nikon is sponsoring the prizes which include a Nikon Coolpix W100 and Nikon Aculon W10 Binoculars. All participants also received a special 100th anniversary T-shirt from Nikon.
