01

HOW HAS TECHNOLOGY IMPACTED

THE INDUSTRY YOU ARE IN? Technology has definitely changed the entertainment industry. For one, technology has helped breach a gap between

the personalities and clients and even fans. Communication is quick and seamless, words spread easily, everything that you do, good or bad, will be judged instantly and by a wider audience, and will remain in cyber space forever! New revenue streams are created in the advent of technology where online businesses are run through your smartphone/laptops, without the need for a

physical space.

02

IS BEING DIGITALLY-DRIVEN CRUCIAL TO SUCCEED IN THE 21ST

CENTURY?

Yes, simply because we are living in a digital era. Everything has gone digital, from TV shows, radio shows (podcasts), the way businesses are run, files are shared, the time spent online, to deny it is to be left behind. At the very least, one should be digitally familiar to keep abreast with changes and the opportunities it presents.

03

DO YOU SEE IT PERSONALLY AS A CHALLENGE OR MORE OF AN

OPPORTUNITY?

Every challenge presents an opportunity, hence the latter. If something is not challenging, then anyone can master it and it won’t be special. But to learn a new thing, in this case, being digitally-savvy, you have nothing to lose and all to gain. And when you learn it well, you can use it

to your own gain.

04

WHAT IS YOUR MOST SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE WITH SOCIAL MEDIA? I remember going on Facebook to share my ordeal of being a snatch theft victim. I was literally shaking from the incident that saw two motorcyclists smashing my car window while I was stuck at a traffic light, stealing my bag and taking off within a split second. I posted it on my Facebook page so as to warn people to be more

vigilant.

The amount of support and response was overwhelming.

People shared the story and spoke about their similar experiences as well, which helped create a conversation and hence awareness about the incidence of snatch thefts in the area. It also really helped me calm down, knowing I wasn’t

alone in the ordeal.

05

ARE THERE ANY TECH INNOVATIONS THAT YOU FEEL IS LIFE CHANGING?

I personally use a lot of online despatch services, such as GoGet and Send delivery to help run my chores. It has eased my life a lot, from getting someone to help purchase my groceries and a meal that I’m craving, to sending or picking up laundry or to run any errands that helps save time and lets me focus on more

important things.

06

WHAT KIND OF INNOVATION DO YOU WANT TO SEE BEING INTRODUCED IN THE FUTURE THAT COULD BENEFIT

YOU?

Since health is a main concern for everyone, I would love to see a device created to detect any abnormalies or diseases in the body within seconds and to recommend the best course of action.

07

ANY ADVICE ON HOW WOMEN CAN BE MORE INSPIRING WHEN PORTRAYING THEMSELVES ONLINE? Be genuine! People follow you to find out about you, so be your real self and not what you think people would like to see.
