THE TEMPERATURE MONITOR

-

THE Elgato’s Eve Degree temperature and humidity monitor make for a cool inclusion in any modern day smart home. Sporting a breathtaking design that should be able to fit into just about any kind of home, there are state-of-the-art sensors, revolutionary HomeKit technology, and a generous LCD display that arrive in a stunning anodised aluminium body. It will let you check the current temperature and humidity levels on its display, as well as on your iPhone or iPad when connected via the Eve app.

All current and past climate data will be stored on the app, and you can view it via eye-opening graphs which facilitate precise climate monitoring, making it more useful if you have a greenhouse. It will rely on Bluetooth low energy technology, so that you can maximise its battery life even when connected.

The anodised aluminum body will feature a water-resistance rating of IPX3, and will be equally at home in your garden or terrace. It has an operating range of -18 C all the way to 55 C, and can provide a reading of between 0-100 per cent in terms of the current humidity level. If it is within range of a fourth-generation Apple TV that functions as a Home Hub, the Eve Degree will automatically trigger actions, including turning on the fan when a specific temperature is reached, or perhaps activating a humidifier when the air becomes too dry. As long as your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch runs on iOS 10.3 or later, it will be compatible with the Eve Degree. Priced at US$69.95.
