PARTI Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s (PPBM) Armada chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has been urged to look into his movement’s internal problems instead of talking about the problems of other political parties.

Umno Youth deputy chief Senator Khairul Azwan Harun said members of the Youth movement, headed by Syed Saddiq, were not seeing eye to eye on many issues.

He said PPBM should be more concerned with answering questions on chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s suspicious dealings that benefited his family in the past.

“Many opposition leaders are dishing out more allegations each day, including Syed Saddiq.

“He needs to be reminded that before speaking up on certain issues, he should look into the internal problems facing Pakatan Harapan and PPBM.

“Many people know about the internal problems in PPBM Youth, and how Syed Saddiq does not get along with some members.”

Khairul Azwan said this at a breaking-of-fast event, where Hari Raya goodies were handed out to the poor and orphans at the Kampung Bakar Batu hall here on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Syed Saddiq said the people should use the upcoming holiday season to talk about the “pink diamond necklace” highlighted in the United States Department of Justice’s latest civil suit to recover assets allegedly embezzled from 1Malaysia Development Bhd.

Among items detailed in the suit was a claim that the wife of Malaysian Official 1 had received a US$27.3 million (RM117.29 million) 22-carat pink diamond necklace that was acquired using allegedly misappropriated 1MDB funds.

Khairul Azwan said the vitriol from Syed Saddiq and other PPBM leaders was disappointing as they should come clean about allegations against their top two leaders.

PPBM Armada executive council member Muhammad Hafiz Azhar had broken ranks with the party and demanded that Dr Mahathir and party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin answer widespread allegations against them.

Non-governmental organisation Jaringan Melayu Malaysia had highlighted in July 2015 about two sons of the former prime minister who became rich allegedly from financial misappropriation during his 22-year administration.
