PUTRAJAYA: Another two individuals have been called in to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters here yesterday to have their statements recorded.

The two, both women, are assisting with the ongoing investigation into the purchase of a luxury hotel in London by Felda Investment Corporation (FIC).

They are Felda Legal Division director Helwani Lukman and another lawyer Amy Loh Shook Fun, believed to be the partner of the lawyer arrested by MACC last week.

Both women arrived separately at the commission office here at about 10am and 11.50am.

MACC yesterday called in a former member of the FIC board of

directors, Datuk Noor Ehsanuddin Mohd Harun Narrashid, for further investigation.

He was present at the commission on Tuesday.

Ehsanuddin arrived at 10am and left the building at 12pm.

It is believed that Ehsanuddin and two former directors, Datuk Nik Azman Mohamed Zain and Datuk Dr Omar Salim, will be summoned again to MACC at 11am today.

MACC is investigating FIC’s purchase of a property in London between 2013 and 2015, for £60 million (RM330 million). FIC is the investment arm of Felda.

Meanwhile, MACC investigations department director Datuk Simi Abd Ghani confirmed that the two individuals and Ehsanuddin were called in to assist in the investigation.

“We do not rule out the possibility of more arrests (in connection with the probe).”
