Shuhaizam is Bioeconomy Corp‘s new CEO
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Bioeconomy Development Corp (Bioeconomy Corp), the lead development agency for the bio-based industry in Malaysia under the purview of the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry, had appointed Dr Mohd Shuhaizam Mohd Zain as its chief executive officer effective August 1.
In a statement yesterday, Bioeconomy Corp said Shuhaizam has vast experience and knowledge in government policies and directions, and also an in-depth know-how in engineering, system integration and biomedical.
“Since 2005, he has built 10 firms in an array of industries that include agriculture, healthcare, green technology, biomass, bioenergy, clean technology, training and information and communications technology,” the company said.
Shuhaizam holds a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dublin. Bernama
