SEGi fulfills your American dream

-

THE American Degree Programme (ADP) offered by SEGi in collaboration with Troy University in the United States (US) places a strong emphasis on skills beyond the classroom. Troy University’s Dr Judson Edwards, dean of the Sorrell College of Business shares the four key components in their core curriculum.

“We focus on four areas — global awareness, ethical issues in business by making quality decisions, engagement with industry executives and great knowledge base ,” he explains.

Troy University is known as Alabama’s International University for its extensive international programmes in attracting foreign students from around the world.

It has once again been named among the best colleges and universities in the southeastern US by The Princeton Review for the 13th consecutive year.

SEGi’s ADP allows students to complete the programme locally via the 4+0 option, or transfer to the US through the 2+2 or 3+1 option to gain exposure.

Through SEGi’s collaboration with Troy University, students can choose a major in communications, psychology or business.

“We have a strong interactive learning environment that was created online. SEGi students have the opportunity to engage in activities with professors from Troy University,” says Edwards.

The four programmes are the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Global Business major), Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts (Promotion or Psychology Minor) and Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Communication Studies or Global General Business Minor).

SEGi offers other transfer options to ADP students to enhance their employability and deepen their understanding of global issues in business.

This is made possible by SEGi following its new agreements with University at Albany SUNY, Minnesota State University, University of Toledo and University of Wyoming.

The University at Albany SUNY, strategically located in New York’s Tech Valley is among the top American research universities in 2015.

Scholarships up to USD$4,000 are available exclusively for SEGi students with CGPA above 3.0.

At Minnesota State University in Mankato, the university offers a wide range of nationally competitive programmes up to 130 undergraduate majors and 80 graduate degrees.
