COUNTRY GARDEN LAUNCHES FOREST CITY GOLF HOTEL PROJECT
GELANG PATAH: Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd (CGP), the master developer of Forest City, has launched a RM1.8 billion golf resort sprawling more than 809ha.
The five-star Forest City Golf Hotel will be a major component of the second phase of the Forest City development that also includes three inter-connected golf courses and will be flanked by luxurious villas with modern European design. The developments are expected to be completed within two years.
CGP said in a statement 202 units of luxury villas were being offered to buyers.
When fully completed, the lowdensity residential enclave is expected to have a total population of 1,300 residents.
The landed properties are expected to be completed by October 2019 and comprise doublestorey and three-storey cluster houses and semi-detached units ranging from 2,034 sq ft to 6,975 sq ft.
“The properties are pegged from RM1.38 million and are built near a natural water feature which cuts across the golf course,” said the statement.
The 305-room Forest City Golf Hotel is also poised to become a tourism icon in Forest City.
The hotel will have two 11storey towers.
“The hotel is targeting guests from Malaysia, China, Singapore and South Korea,” it said.
The hotel will be completed in the first half of next year, while the golf resort is slated for completion in the second half of next year.
CGP executive director Datuk Md Othman Yusof said these new projects were a major part of Forest City’s second phase development. He said besides attracting tourists and golfers, the developments would provide jobs to Johor folk.
“The developments spell good news for locals as there will 250 job vacancies at the hotel and 210 vacancies at the golf courses.”
Next to the golf resort is Forest City’s RM2.6 billion industrial building system factory, which started operations in August.
