Nalini Nambiar: Some people in this country beat up others over the most trivial matters. Why are people nowadays so cruel?

Gurcharan Singh: Beating and bullying people are definitely not on. This is animalistic behaviour. I hope the police arrest the culprit.

Kevin Khaw: The bus driver apparently took the complaint personally. What, does he own the bus in the first place? Perhaps in the near future, he, or even his descendants will end up working in a factory in neighbouring countries and receive similar treatment. That’s the universal law of nature.

James Muthu: Cancel the driver’s permit. He’s behaving pretty much like a gangster. I hope police will act swiftly and bring the assailant in.

MK Zubaidah: Why did that person record the incident instead of stepping in to help? Think about it. The victim is a human being, just like the rest of us. What right do we have to treat him that way? This is so sad.
