A taste of HK at KL travel fair

-

KUALA LUMPUR: The Hong Kong Live travel fair at Suria KLCC here from today until Sunday will give Malaysians a taste of what to expect of a holiday in the Chinese autonomous territory.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has spared no effort in bringing a virtual interactive experience of its famous attractions — the Big Bus Hong Kong, Duckling, Hong Kong Disneyland, Madame Tussauds, Ngong Ping 360, Ocean Park and the Sky100 Observation Deck — to the fair.

Celebrity family Awal Ashaari, Scha Al Yahya and their daughter, Lara Alana, will be on hand to share their travel experiences in Hong Kong.

Awal and Scha will give tips on how to make the most out of a trip to Hong Kong.

Social influencer Ann Qi will talk about her favourite Hong Kong hangouts.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board said Muslims could visit the city with the confidence of knowing that as Asia’s World City, Hong Kong had an array of halal restaurants and mosques.

The board will provide Muslim visitors with the Warna-Warni Hong Kong travel guidebook.

Those who opt to download the e-guidebook will receive a limited edition Muslim travel kit, courtesy of the board.

Visitors can look out for and take photographs with the Giant LT Duck.

There will also be a floral display by award-winning designer Dr Solomon Leong.

Those who buy AirAsia tickets to Hong Kong stand to win 50,000 AirAsia Big points every day simply by posting pictures taken at the event on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #DiscoverHongKong.
