Anti-workplace discrimination legislation

THE Malaysian Business Consortium on HIV/AIDS (MBCH), at its annual

forum, focused on the need to ensure legal protection for workers living with HIV against any form of HIV/AIDS-based workplace

discrimination.

The forum is organised by the Malaysian AIDS Foundation. Minister of Human Resources Datuk Seri Richard Riot said the ministry

will review the Code of Practice before presenting the draft legislation to the Attorney-General’s Chambers.
