MSU rated among best universities in Asia
KUALA LUMPUR: Management and Science University (MSU) was rated among Asia’s best universities by global higher education analysts Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
In the QS Asia’s Ranking 2018, competing with over 400 other universities from 17 Asian nations, MSU was ranked 217 by the London-based analyst.
“MSU entered 2017 with a QS Rating of Five Stars for Teaching, Facilities, Graduate Employability, Social Responsibility and Inclusiveness.
“The 2018 ranking of MSU not only jives with the university’s aspiration for global prominence on the rankings rungs, but also celebrates the university’s accelerating commitment to excellence in higher education,” it said in a recent statement.
It said the QS Asia Ranking 2018 used the same World Universities Ranking performance indicators, but with recalibrated weightings to reflect Asian priorities.
Prior to this, MSU had accomplished other achievements.
The university, based in Shah Alam, Selangor, had received the double distinctions of Excellence in Quality International Education and Outstanding Contribution to International Education from the United Kingdom accreditation body, the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities.
“For MSU, making a global impact and transforming lives and enriching futures will (help it) take strides into excellence as well as and encourage its members of all levels to work even harder together,” it said.
