Cole Haan’s new campaign features models Christy Turlington Burns and Karlie Kloss and their stories, writes Sushma Veera
AMERICAN lifestyle footwear and accessories brand Cole Haan’s new campaign is taking a different approach. Called Extraordinary Women, Extraordinary Stories, the campaign features models Christy Turlington Burns and Karlie Kloss and their stories that inspire beyond beauty and glamour.
Both have channelled their successful modelling careers to positively impact women’s lives. Through Kode with Klossy, Kloss works at empowering young women and girls to learn to code as well as become leaders in tech. Burns’ Every Mother Counts provides mothers around the world access to maternity care.
“When someone is extraordinary, they are being genuine to their unique passions and chasing their dreams,” says Kloss.
To Burns, what any of us do on a daily basis is very ordinary, very routine. “Extraordinary is really born from being your best possible self in any of those given moments.”
The campaign features candid video vignettes, intimate and editorial photographs as well as the Fall 2017 Collection for women’s shoes. Acclaimed photographer Cass Bird captured the intimate anecdotes and life lessons shared between Kloss and Burns with styling by Karla Welch.
