KUALA LUMPUR: With Chinese New Year (CNY) just around the corner, Etika Sdn Bhd, one of Malaysia’s leading halal beverage companies and drink distributors, is bringing yet another wave of excitement to Malaysians during the festive season.

Consumers can enjoy a popular CNY tradition by getting personalised Chinese New Year themed angpow packets with their surname written by professional calligraphers.

All they need to do is purchase any of Etika’s beverages — Pepsi, 7UP, Revive Isotonic, Kickapoo or two Tropicana Twister Twin packs — at selected outlets in the Klang Valley, such as AEON BIG (Wangsa Maju, Subang Jaya, Kepong and Puchong Utama), AEON Bukit Tinggi, Tesco (Mutiara Damansara and Kepong) and Giant (Banting, Klang and Batu Caves) on Feb 10 and 11 from 12pm to 8pm.

They can also get six free packs of Tropicana Twister with a purchase of two cartons of 330ml can of Pepsi, 7UP, Revive Isotonic or Kickapoo at the selected outlets while stocks last.

As part of the festivity, fans can get their hands on the Limited CNY Edition can of 330ml 7UP and Pepsi.

Consumers can get a free dimsum.my scratch-and-redeem card when they purchase products from any of Etika’s participating brands. This will allow them to redeem a free subscription to dimsum.my worth up to RM180. Participants need only purchase any a carton of their preferred Etika beverages at selected outlets.

Etika Vice-President of Marketing, Santharuban T. Sundaram, said the company hoped to enliven the festivities by conducting promotions and rewarding its consumers.

“Brands such as Pepsi and 7UP have been nostalgic drinks of choice at family gatherings. We hope that our promotion campaign not only makes these celebrations more cheerful, but also serves as reminder of the good times that should be shared between loved ones,” he said.

Consumers will receive a 1.25L bottle of MUG Sarsaparilla upon purchasing any one carton of 330ml can of Pepsi and its participating products, be it 7UP, Revive Isotonic or Kickapoo, at 99 Speedmart. For more information, visit http://www.etikaholdings.com/our-brands.
