Malaysian mentality meets bicycle lanes

Mary Chiew:

Looking at our bicycle lanes, I have a feeling that our cyclists will be exposed to the inconsiderate drivers we have around us. Why not emulate how lanes are built in other countries? They are wider and not located next to main roads!

Muhammad Fakrur Radzi:

So many of them have expensive cars, but they also have a very cheap mentality.

Muhammad Farouq:

One of the drivers acknowledged that it was wrong for him to park there, but the question is, where is enforcement?

Zakaria Hamdan:

Bicycle lanes shouldn’t be on the same level as car lanes. This is just plain dangerous. Should have expanded the pedestrian paths and incorporated the bike lanes there.

Alex Chan Kit Seng:

Maybe they should consider placing the blue lanes on the pavement, beside pedestrian paths, instead of right next to main roads.
