NOKIA BANANA

If you’re a fan of the movie The Matrix, you must be familiar with the Nokia 8110 a.k.a. Banana phone, first released in 1996. Twenty-two years later, HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones, has announced the return of the legendary slider phone with the bells and whistles of 4G connectivity as well as apps, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search, Facebook and Twitter.
This phone comes complete with the iconic curved slider design, giving you the chance to switch off, have fun and relax with the knowledge that all your smartphone essentials are there when you need them.
It is expected to be available here from May, and will retail for a global average retail price of 79 euro (about RM378), excluding taxes and subsidies.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S9 & S9+
Samsung Malaysia’s head of product marketing Julian Thean shows the new Galaxy S9 and
S9+ at the phones preview in Kuala Lumpur last week. Both the Galaxy S9 and S9+ feature innovative camera technologies designed not just to produce amazing photos but to also help users connect more comfortably and have more fun with their phone.
These include features such as Super Slowmo and Dual Aperture, which allow users to capture amazing moments in impeccable detail, as well as exciting innovations like AR Emoji, which offer users a fun and unique way to express themselves. For example, the Galaxy S9’s new Super Slow-mo function makes it easy for users to record special moments that pass too quickly to be seen by the naked eye — such as the instant a water balloon bursts, or the moment your child scores a big goal.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available starting March 16, 2018 in Malaysia. Offered at the recommended retail price from RM3,299 to RM4,399, it will be available in Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple.
