PM’s question to media draws laughter

KUALA LUMPUR: Each time Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak makes a public appearance, he is asked, when will the 14th General Election (GE14) be held?

This has been a staple at each of his press conferences this year, with Najib having dropped hints on when it would be held.

Najib, who was accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, instead popped the question to the press at the opening of the first meeting of the sixth session of the 13th Parliament yesterday.

“Bila election? (When’s the election?)” he asked, drawing laughter from the media.

The opening of the final Parliament session before GE14 has seen speculation floating around, including claims that the session would be suspended as soon as the election date was announced.
