MYRUMAH SHOWCASE RETURNS THIS WEEKEND
Media Prima initiative to provide platform for the public to buy dream houses
THE New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Bhd’s (NSTP) MyRumah Property Showcase 2018 is back for the third year running.
The showcase is part of NSTP parent Media Prima Bhd’s group initiative to provide a platform for the public, especially firsttime house buyers, to purchase their dream houses at affordable prices.
NSTP chief executive officer Datuk Seri Abdul Jalil Hamid said the company aimed to make this event a preferred platform for property consultation, where existing and potential house buyers can get expert advice from developers and property gurus.
“As an ‘all-in-one’ platform, consumers will get better options and be able to make informed decisions to purchase and own their dream houses while developers can display quality products and services, and offer buyers a good deal,” he said.
Jalil said those planning to buy a property, especially first-time house buyers, should seize this golden opportunity as most units offered would start from RM300,000, targeting the B40 and M40 income groups.
Among participating developers are Sunsuria Bhd, Aset Kayamas Sdn Bhd, Magna Prima Bhd and Sime Darby Property Bhd.
Renowned speakers and real estate experts who will give talks throughout the event include Ahyat Ishak, Datuk Nazri, Akmal Nazim, Bella Leana, Amin Harith and Amsyari Syakur from Pejuang Hartanah, as well as representatives from Amanah Raya, Bank Muamalat, Takaful Ikhlas and the Employees’ Provident Fund.
The MyRumah showcase is scheduled to take place at SACC Mall in Shah Alam from March 9 to 11, from 10am to 10pm daily.
Shah Alam is the first location for the event this year, followed by Sungai Petani, Johor Baru and Melaka. Admission is free for all venues.
