Love Harbour Melaka may record RM152m revenue by 2020

MELAKA: Malaysia’s first lovethemed harbour, Love Harbour Melaka, is expected to garner total revenue of RM152 million by 2020.

The harbour, which boasts 100 business units across a 2ha site, is expected to be a game changer in the Melaka tourism scene.

A total of RM15 million has been set aside to promote the area.

The harbour was jointly developed by property management and tourist attraction developmen­t company Mythas Legacy Sdn Bhd and First Avenue Partners (Asia) Sdn Bhd.

“We are confident that Love Harbour Melaka will attract tourists across the region.

“Revenue is projected at RM32 million in the first year, RM48 million in the following year and RM72 million in the third year,” said Mythas Legacy chief executive officer Hedki Heng in a statement.

He said Mythas Legacy is on the lookout for more tenants and businesses to help grow Love Harbour Melaka.

“We are seeking for more tenants and businesses from various fields such as food and beverage, bridal shops, wellness establishm­ents and home decoration,” he added.

The Love Harbour Melaka is set for completion this month.
