Tender for final survey consultant job

KUALA LUMPUR: MyHSR Corp Sdn Bhd will call for a tender tomorrow to appoint the final survey consultants (FSCs) to assist with land acquisition activities for the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high-speed rail (HSR) project.

MyHSR said the tender would be divided into six packages, with three packages reserved for Bumiputera firms.

It said the main scopes of the FSC were to conduct land survey and provide administration support for the land acquisition process for the HSR project within Malaysia.

MyHSR said the land acquisition application was expected to commence in June, with the first plots of land to be acquired for the main infrastructure such as stations, maintenance facilities and tunnel portals.

Chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Nur Ismal Mohamed Kamal said land acquisition was a critical activity for the project.

“The tender is open to experienced companies registered with the Finance Ministry, while the individual licensed land surveyor from the companies must be registered with the Land Surveyors Board of Malaysia,” he said.
