UEM Sunrise project has received strong interest, says CEO

-

UEM Sunrise Bhd is on track to deliver its first Federal Territories Affordable Housing (Rumawip) project in Mont Kiara on March 20.

Kiara Kasih, which has drawn strong interest from property buyers, has an estimated gross development value of RM217.5 million and is part of UEM Sunrise’s RM1 billion worth of property projects to be launched this year.

“We are on track. We are very excited about the project as it is our first Rumawip project in Mont Kiara.

“It is very livable and affordable for property buyers here in Klang Valley. We have received very strong interest in the project. Even internally, our employees have expressed their interest in applying,” said chief executive officer and managing director Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib.

When asked if UEM Sunrise would build more Rumawip projects in the future, Anwar said: “We will first look at the success rate for Kiara Kasih. We know affordability is an issue here in the Klang Valley.”

The Rumawip project, priced at RM200,000 per unit, will comprise a single 41-storey block, containing 719 units.

UEM Sunrise will also be launching the high-rise developments MK27, Serene Heights Phase One D1, Serimbun Phase 1A and 1B and Iris Phase A and B this year.

UEM Sunrise has also concluded its special sales campaign “Signature Selection: Road to Russia 2018”.

Close to 700 exclusive UEM Sunrise privileged cardholders attended a live musical performance of the production “Ola Bola The Musical” before the grand finale lucky draw.

The sales campaign, which ran from August to November last year, offered discounts as well as referral fees to purchasers and introducers of selected signature UEM Sunrise properties.

Anwar said the three-month campaign saw 502 property units in the central and southern regions successfully sold, adding that the campaign brought in a total sales value of RM588 million.
