THE top 6 finalists of “Flydol: Sing It To Win It” have been chosen after two weeks of auditions. Melissa, Erul, Hashmitha, Ronnie, Havila and Helmie were picked out of a bevy of talented candidates aged between 18 and 30.

They were selected by a team of judges, which comprised Fly FM’s head of programming Shiva Ruppeni, Fly FM music director Navin Rishal, Anugerah Industri Muzik winner and vocal coach Vince Chong, and lead vocalist of Paperplane Pursuit John O, among others.

The finalists will join the fourweek radio and digital reality show, which includes training with Chong and John O.

They will be coached on vocal training, songwriting, image and how to present themselves in the digital world.

The winner of Flydol 2018 will walk away with RM10,000 and a debut single produced by John O.

Shiva said: “We’re excited to be on this journey of not just grooming local talent, but also creating a stepping stone for them into the entertainment industry.

“It’s important to support homegrown talents. Hopefully, we might see the next Yuna or SonaOne from Flydol 2018.”
