PM: BN CAN SOLVE SELANGOR WOES
Coalition will tackle dengue, cleanliness and water issues if it wins, says Najib
BARISAN Nasional will solve Selangor’s chronic dengue issue, which stems from a lack of cleanliness, if given the mandate in the 14th General Election.
In his speech at the groundbreaking of Kajang Hospital’s women and children’s complex yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the issues of cleanliness and water cuts had affected Selangor folk badly.
He said a BN government would solve both problems.
He said Selangor should not be labelled “Darul Sampah” and “Darul Denggi” because of the incompetency of its PKR-led government.
“Water cuts are a priority. We also have dengue and cleanliness issues.
“I give you my word that if BN is given the mandate for Selangor, these issues will be resolved by us.”
Najib pointed out the problems faced by Selangor folk following the infamous “Kajang move” in 2014.
‘There are two ‘Kajang moves’. One which benefited the people, and another which spelt more trouble for people.
“The Kajang move by PKR was unfulfilled. Although Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail won the by-election, it only created bigger problems for the people.”
He said in contrast, the Kajang move undertaken by him was a success, a reference to the launch of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang line and the building of the Kajang Hospital’s women and children’s complex.
