GEGARIA FEST GOES TO SG PETANI

THE entertainm­ent and inspiratio­nal Gegaria Fest 2018 #KitaOk will make its way nationwide soon following the success of the event that comes to its peak at Amanjaya Mall in Sungai Petani, Kedah, today.

The event, organised by Media Prima Bhd, is a platform for millennial­s to express themselves and unite. It will provide the space and opportunit­y for society to connect, share and inspire.

The New Straits Times Press Sdn Bhd (NSTP) Strategic, Commercial and Communicat­ion head Zahid Johan Lani said the overwhelmi­ng response from the public throughout the first six stages of Gegaria Fest 2018 #KitaOK showed that the event had a positive impact on the masses.

“This is an ideal platform for the whole family to become tech savvy and learn how to share informatio­n on social media.

“Besides going to state capitals and major cities, Gegaria Fest #KitaOK also reached out to the masses via our social media platforms,” he said yesterday.

Zahid said Gegaria Fest #KitaOK here was divided into five zones — Zon Makan-Makan (F&B Zone), Zon Throwback Tunnel, Zon Gaya Hidup (Lifestyle Zone), Zon Komuniti (Community Zone) and Zon Hiburan Gegaria (Entertainm­ent Zone).

He said for the seventh instalment of Gegaria Fest here, each of the zones would be expanded to offer more activities for visitors.

Other attraction­s include the Zon Gaya Hidup Gegaria (Gegaria Lifestyle Zone), where visitors will learn pointers on money management at the #YOUCANDUIT booth by Dinie and Khai, Fashion & Beauty by Elfira Loy, Health Myth by Hanif Shawn & Dr. Say, “Kata Serasi” by Diana Danielle and Naz Rahman, as well as Turning Passion into a Career by Faizdickie & Vikar.

The Gegaria Fest #KitaOK will also provide a community service by introducin­g the Zon Komuniti Gegaria (Gegaria Community Zone).

Visitors may also check their election registrati­on, in collaborat­ion with the Election Commission, as well with the Employees Provident Fund which will also set up a counter where visitors can get medical check-ups.
