ENTRY-LEVEL HERO

WHERE action cameras are concerned, GoPro simply stands above the rest. Its action cameras can handle just about any adrenaline-pumping activity that you throw at it but the entry price point may be too high for many people. Not anymore, as GoPro has just launched its entry-level Hero camera at just US$199. The all-new GoPro Hero camera is a go-anywhere, capture-anything camera that makes it a snap to share your life experiences, which would normally be too difficult

(or dangerous) to capture with a smartphone. With a twoinch touchscreen display for easy navigation of its menus, alongside a waterproof capability of up to 9m, this makes the new GoPro Hero an extremely durable device that is perfect for small children, adventurous social sharers and travellers. Whenever you would like to share all of your captured experiences, it is as simple as offloading both photos and videos to the GoPro app. The same app will then open up the way to create fun, shareable videos automatically, all without the hassle of fumbling around with an SD card or to plug in the camera into a computer. This model is able to capture Full HD video (1440p60 and 1080p60 resolution) alongside preserving stills at 10MP resolution. With voice control capability, it is as simple as speaking to the Hero to begin and stop recording, snap a photo, turn itself off and more. The integrated video stabilisation will go a long way in smoothing out the shakes, helping preserve those unique and fun moments without having to indulge in a whole lot of video editing afterwards.
