MB: Your criticism can help Kedah develop

-

ALOR STAR: The state government is open to criticism to meet people’s aspirations and to ensure that the best services are provided to them.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir said the state government would take heed of any criticism provided it was constructive and beneficial to all races.

“The government of today is one that thinks outside of the box and is open to public criticism.

“If you love the country and state, then, tell us.

“Give us your suggestions and views.

“We need brilliant ideas as we are not knowledgeable in all matters.

“We can learn from others,” he said after opening the 23rd General Meeting of the Council of Representatives of Kedah Headmasters here yesterday.

At the event, themed “Headmasters as Catalysts for Excellence in New Malaysia Education Era”, Mukhriz urged educators to continue supporting the government’s efforts to mould students with exceptional human capital potential to assist in the development of the country.
