COMPANY, Stephen Sondheim’s ground-breaking modern musical, is a mature, intelligent, and wildly funny look at relationships, vulnerability and “being alive”. Staged at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, Sentul Park, Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur today and tomorrow, it opened on Broadway in 1970 and won over seven Tony Awards in New York including Best Musical, as well as three Laurence Olivier Awards in London, and multiple Drama Desk Awards.

Company was staged in Singapore in 2012 and was nominated in the Life! Awards for Best Production of the Year, and it is scheduled to be staged in London later this year as well.

This production highlights some of Malaysia’s most respected musical theatre performers including Peter Ong who will be reprising his role as Bobby having performed it to critical acclaim in Singapore, and Junji Delfino, Malaysia’s popular jazz singer, will be playing the stand out role of Joanne.

Hit songs from this musical include You Could Drive A Person Crazy, Ladies Who Lunch and Being Alive.

Company is presented by PAN Productions, directed by Nell Ng, with Loh Ui Li and Khoo Khe Sin as music directors.
