Profit growth cools at Domino’s Pizza
SYDNEY: Australian fast-food chain Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd posted its slowest profit growth in five years yesterday, missing expectations, as a heatwave sent Europeans to cafes rather than pizza shops and earnings from Japan fell. Domino’s underlying profit, which strips out one-off costs, rose 12.4 per cent to A$133.2 million (RM395.53 million) for the year to June 30, below analyst forecasts of A$136.6 million and behind guidance for a 20 per cent jump.
