Charged with son’s murder
PETALING JAYA: A 36-year-old man was charged in the magistrate’s court yesterday with murdering his five-year-old son last week.
Mohd Faih Rifin appeared calm when the charge was read to him before magistrate Nor Ariffin
Hisham.
No plea was recorded.
Faih, a former People’s Volunteer Corps member, was alleged to have murdered Muhammad Waiz Wazzini in a house in Taman Puchong Permai between 2.30pm and 5.30pm on Aug 13.
The court fixed Oct 16 for mention.
It was reported on Aug 14 that the father had slashed the boy on his head and right wrist while the child was sleeping.
