Tokyo’s yoga festival comes to KL
COME Aug 25 and 26, yoga enthusiasts can join Tokyo’s biggest annual yoga and organic lifestyle event, Organic Life, for the first time this year at Publika, Kuala Lumpur.
Organic Life KL 2018 is a two-day yoga festival with a spotlight on holistic living and aims to inculcate habits promoting health and the mind-body-spirit connection with yoga as the key feature. Its main objective is to raise yoga’s profile in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region.
“The event is held in conjunction with its sister festival Organic Life Tokyo, the biggest of its kind in the city. Every year, the annual festival hosts community classes, workshops and bazaars in line with its objective to promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle,” says Navin Mogan, Organic Life KL 2018 event coordinator.
The theme for this year’s event is Come Together.
“It signifies that the festival is where we all gather for a balanced mind, body and soul through the practice of yoga.
“More than 30 yoga and wellness experts from Asia Pacific will be featured at the event, including well-known local yoga personalities such as Atilia Haron, Hansen Lee, Jojo Struys, Darren Chen, Nicholas Cheah, Josephine Chan as well as Yenny Christine and Mariana Sin from Indonesia, Kaori Sasaki from Japan and Hemanth Venkataram from India,” says Navin.
“This event is not only meant for yoga enthusiasts. Fitness lovers, gym enthusiasts, marathon runners and anyone with an interest in health and wellness can come and join the fun.
