THE newly opened Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur has unveiled a selection of specially-made mooncakes available in seven flavours from authentic classic baked mooncakes in celebratio­n of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Mid-Autumn Festival, otherwise known as Tang Lung Festival, falls on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Lunar calendar and is celebrated to signify the end of the harvest season. Mooncakes are the main highlight in celebratio­n of this occasion and are usually enjoyed with a palate-cleansing cup of Chinese tea, and some poetry in the venerable Tang dynasty.

Celebrate this Mid-Autumn Festival with mooncakes specially made by Chef Jimmy Wong, Executive Chinese Chef of Yun House and his team.

- Lotus Seed Paste with Eight Egg Yolks, priced at RM208 nett per mooncake

Chef Jimmy has specially curated the Eight Egg Yolks mooncake, 6.5” inches in diameter, as an ideal gift for friends and family during this festive season.
