PUTRAJAYA: The Entrepreneurial Development Ministry has launched a OneStop Centre for Entrepreneurs and a toll-free line to provide advisory services to entrepreneurs.

Its minister, Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof, said the centre, or PSK, would play a vital role in facilitating and encouraging entrepreneurs while supporting their development.

He said PSK, which would be established throughout the country, would act as a centre to store data, and gather responses and complaints from existing and budding entrepreneurs.

“The implementation of PSK will involve existing resources from agencies under the ministry, including SME Corp, SME Bank, Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Bhd and National Entrepreneurial Group Economic Fund.

“Apart from that, other agencies like Bank Rakyat, National Entrepreneurship Institute, UDA Holdings, Malaysian Cooperative Commission, Business Licensing Electronic Support System and Contractor and Entrepreneur Development Division will also help.

“This move will ease access to the latest news and information on programmes and funding offered by various agencies by entrepreneurs.

“Among the queries and complaints received by the ministry are on financial support and entrepreneur capacity enhancement.

“PSK will ease channeling of information to entrepreneurs,” he said after the ministry’s monthly assembly.

At the event, he launched PSK’s toll-free line (1300 88 1020), which will operate from Sept 28, from Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5pm.
