Henry Butcher ‘brings’ Le Nouvel to Japan
HENRY Butcher Real Estate Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Beyond Borders Tokyo, has made a mark in Japan by introducing its client Wing Tai Malaysia’s Le Nouvel KLCC to investors in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Held in early August at the Shinjuku Prince Hotel in Tokyo, the private event saw a successful prelude to Henry Butcher’s initiative in promoting Malaysia’s real estate. This was in efforts to encourage potential Japanese investors to look to Malaysia as a next ideal option.
An epitome of luxury living in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city, Le Nouvel KLCC is built for those who appreciate the allure of majestic Petronas Twin Towers. It is principally designed by architect extraordinaire Jean Nouvel, who has won nearly every notable accolade in architecture including the Pritzker Architecture Prize.
Le Nouvel is also a collaborative effort with other renowned architects, namely Herve Descottes, Patrick Blanc and Koichiro Ikebuchi. Blanc’s specialty in botany shines through vertical planters of more than 200 species of plants vining the building.
Meanwhile, Marie Maillard designed the residence’s curtain walls with glass frit patterns made of various leaf patterns to complement the vertical green facade.
The event, which took place in an intimate setting, encouraged highly interactive discourse between potential investors and real estate experts.
It was conducted fully in Japanese by Tadayoshi Endo and Yuma Fujikawa, who ran through a presentation on Le Nouvel KLCC and snapshots of the Malaysian market, especially the Kuala Lumpur city centre vicinity, and more importantly, updated the participants on the country’s real estate industry.
The speakers also elaborated on Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme.
The MM2H programme has attracted many Japanese to reside in Malaysia, due to various factors such as business relationships and tourism.
Initially, the Japanese came as tourists, but as time went by, they started investing in Malaysia’s properties, attracted by their affordability compared to those in their home country.
Le Nouvel is located on a premium site along Jalan Ampang, which is arguably the most sought-after address at the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s business and lifestyle district. It is within a five-minute walking distance to the KLCC light rail transit station and is surrounded by high-end shopping centres, such as Suria KLCC, Avenue K and Pavillion.
There are also office spaces and banks in the same vicinity, another plus point that can attract potential buyers. With facilities such as a gym, yoga room, game room, a theatre and a karaoke room, Le Nouvel is deemed a collector’s piece right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
With its luxury factor, paired with accessibility and conveniences, the residence is worth a consideration by investors, especially when compared with real estate offerings in the Japanese market, which is one of the world’s most expensive.
The private event was a success as not only it highlighted Wing Tai’s Le Nouvel KLCC to Japanese investors, it also introduced Henry Butcher to Japan’s market.
Due to favourable response, Henry Butcher has returned to Tokyo for the second time to promote Le Nouvel.
