Pas to paint PD green

-

PORT DICKSON: Pas members are expected to flood the town centre here in the lead-up to the parliamentary by-election on Oct 13 to lend support to the party’s candidate, Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Mohd Nazari Mokhtar.

He said to date, his campaign was only backed by the Negri Sembilan and Melaka branches of Pas.

“(But) our machinery is ready. We are preparing to hang 25,000 Pas flags all over Port Dickson.

“We will paint the (town) green. Other than following my daily campaign schedule, I am attending events organised by the people,” he said in Teluk Kemang yesterday.

On Barisan Nasional’s decision to boycott the by-election, he said this had shifted the burden of strengthening the opposition’s voice to Pas, which must ensure a win.
