At US$299, it comes with enough audio pedigree to keep even the most discerning listener happy. Featuring four colours — Tortoiseshell, Steel Blue, Grey Terrazzo, and Matte Black, each has an elegant stainless steel charging case. The earphones boast of handcrafted acetate that has been created through time-honoured craftsmanship. The use of such material enables each individual earphone to be uniquely eye-catching, shorn of weight and yet maintain a high degree of durability. PVD-coated stainless steel is used for both the acoustic enclosures housing dynamic 10mm beryllium drivers to produce Master & Dynamic’s signature sound, while control buttons on each earphone makes interfacing with it a snap.

The custom 10mm beryllium drivers deliver a rich, warm, and expansive sound, while the presence of optical sensors can detect in-ear placement. This helps audio to pause when the MW07 is removed from the listener’s ears, and resume playback upon insertion. Master & Dynamic has also worked to deliver an innovative, detachable silicone “fit wing”, which comes in two sizes, and is accompanied by five ear tip sizes that can offer a combination that fits virtually all ear sizes.
